It was January 1987, Pastor Eric D. Price obeyed the call of God to begin a work for the Lord in the city of Jackson, Tennessee. The first service was held in the living room of his home at Lane Crest Apartments. He preached the gospel of Jesus Christ to his wife and two children.

456 East College Street

As they labored in the Gospel, a new location was needful to provide a place a worship for the souls that needed salvation. The Lord made provision to move into a storefront on East College Street. The first service was held on Resurrection Sunday  in 1987. The church was named New Life Assembly Apostolic Church.

190 Campbell Street

The Lord sent souls for  the labor, membership increased, and by 1991 the church had outgrown the storefront. Pastor Price began to seek the Lord for a new location. On July 29, 1991, the church relocated to 190 Campbell Street. The church was renamed Greater Visions Apostolic Church of Jesus Christ and the motto became "Souls for the Kingdom Ministry".

325 North Royal Street

Under the leadership of Pastor Eric D. Price, Greater Visions Apostolic Church became known as a soul saving station in the city of Jackson. As the church continued to grow , it was time to move again. The Lord had given Pastor Price a vision to build a church in the heart of the city. The Lord made provision once again to purchase a lot around the corner from the previous storefront location. In 2000, construction began for the new building on Royal Street. In July 2001 the first service was held in the first phase of the new church.
